• SAR Class 19D Steam Locomotive – DCC Sound Equipped
• Accurate model of a versatile South African Railways 4-8-2 used across the SAR network
• Based on the 1939 upgrade of the 19C class with Walschaerts valve gear
• One of the last classes to see service before the end of SAR steam operations

Model Features:
• Available in both 12mm (HOm) and 16.5mm (HO) gauge
• DCC with sound installed as standard on all models
• Factory-installed ESU LokSound V decoder with correct SAR whistle
• High-torque motor + gearbox powering all 8 driving wheels (44:1 ratio)
• ESU power pack and directional lighting included
• Kadee #178 couplers pre-installed (both gauges)
• Recommended minimum curve radius: 700mm (approx. 27.5 inches), including turnout rails

Shipping Policy: Please note that we will not ship items directly to model train service workers (e.g., for paint, repair, or any modifications). All models must be shipped directly to the buyer. This ensures that any issues with shipping or the model are resolved solely between the customer and Adam's Brass Basement LLC. We do not engage with third-party repair technicians regarding shipment issues.
