HO Brass - PSC 18448.1 C&O Chesapeake & Ohio 2-6-6-6 H-8 Allegheny #1604 - F/P Notes

For the Chesapeake & Ohio fans out there, the Allegheny is the must have locomotive for your pike. By far the most unique locomotive constructed for the railroad, this behemoth was the most powerful locomotive ever constructed. With one of the largest fireboxes ever put on a locomotive, this engine was designed to pull long freight trains at high speed. These would also be seen at the head of troop trains!

The #1604 is a particularly special one as this is the locomotive that is at the B&O Railroad Museum! The model is one of just twelve models made in this version (Early Version - across all road numbers)

This model has some level of damage and may have a missing part or two. We noticed the light in the tender bunker has come detached. It is possible other small items may be missing however there isn't anything that stands out.

Includes a list of DCC functions and how to access them. This is a great opportunity to get a ultra rare model at a slightly discounted price. We do not believe one of these has been on the market since NEW! If it was mint this would be a $4000 model! Original price was $3500!
