Key imports was a powerhouse when it came to making Brass models. For over 30 years, Key imported some of the finest models out of Korea. This is a very seldom seen model of the Erie Triplex; An unusual and unsuccessful locomotive. This is one of those models Key Imports did where you end up scratching your head and wondering how many parts are on here? Many key models had over 1000 parts! 

This model is powered by 3 motors. An individual motor for all 3 sets of drivers. This means, this model can pull just about anything. All 3 engines run smoothly and match speeds very well. Serviced and runs well.

  • Pilot has never been installed 

We can confirm this model is a later run 3 ways. 

  1. Gearboxes are black
  2. Yellow foam
  3. black box bottom -
Early model had a white box bottom and red foam which stained everything. This is the one you want!

Shipping Policy: Please note that we will not ship items directly to model train service workers (e.g., for paint, repair, or any modifications). All models must be shipped directly to the buyer. This ensures that any issues with shipping or the model are resolved solely between the customer and Adam's Brass Basement LLC. We do not engage with third-party repair technicians regarding shipment issues.
