Most people are not aware that the K-27 class was first built as Vauclain compounds. Basically, this put two cylinders on each side of the engine! This revolutionary technology at the time allowed for longer trains to be pulled by stronger locomotives.
This model is modeled as it appeared from 1903-1909.
- Powered and runs extremely smoothly in both directions
- Built by Nakamura of Japan - It is a very well constructed model
- Full backhead detail with painted gauge faces and throttles
- This model has been pro-painted with SLOAN decals

We do not engage with third-party repair technicians regarding shipment issues.
