DESCRIPTION

You are looking at a seldom-seen Precision Scale Co. Southern Railway PS-4 4-6-2 Late Version with Walschaerts Valve Gear. The reason this model is so rare is the fact that most of these were painted... Although, pretty poorly, from the factory. I had intended to paint this one up as PS-4 #1401 as seen today at the Smithsonian's American History Museum in D.C. This model features the late Walschaerts Valve Gear and the Laird crosshead present on later PS-4's.

Excellent Castings, Especially the Elesco system

Includes extra parts bag. 
One washout plug is missing but a replacement PSC casting is supplied.
