HO Brass - OMI 6463.1 Southern Pacific SP Krauss-Maffei #9009

For the Southern Pacific fans out there, this is easily identified as one of the most unique ventures the SP ever took in locomotive design. This “hood unit” was part of the second KM delivery in 1964.

This model appears to be in great condition with no wheel wear. On the engineers side, it appears the the closest handrail to the cab had been bent and has a small chip nearest the cab (see photos). 

The universal shafts have been fixed so the engine runs strong and smooth. The lights work in reverse however they strangely don’t operate going forward.
