Doodlebugs were used all over the United States where demand was limited as they could be operated for much less than a traditionally steam operated line. This Santa Fe Gasoline Motor car is a perfect example of a engine used for these branchline services to bigger terminals.

This is Serial #101 of just 150 models (across all variations), meticulously crafted in Korea for Key Imports in 2005 and preserved in pristine, mint condition within its original packaging. The HO scale brass model captures the Santa Fe M-160 Motor-Car following its legendary 1962 re-shopping, when it donned the iconic "Warbonnet" livery. Originally a 1931 J.G. Brill Co. creation, the prototype served the Santa Fe faithfully across Texas and New Mexico routes until retirement in 1968. This exceptional piece features factory-installed Kadee knuckle couplers, runs with flawless smoothness, and displays an impeccable finish unmarred by any wear or imperfection. A brass identification plate confirms its exclusive numbered status.
