Produced by Samhongsa of Korea for Key Imports in 1986. Custom Series 42. The distinctive profile of this noteworthy early Steam Locomotive is familiar to most railfans. The prototype began life in 1863 as a product of Cooke Locomotive Co. This is one of the most significant locomotives of its time. Originally designed for very short trains in the early days of steam, this locomotive would go on to be part of southern pacific railroad permanent collection, and is now on display at the California railroad museum.
